ASHRAE and UN Environment Programme (UNEP) have announced the project selections for the 2023 ASHRAE-UNEP OzonAction Lower-GWP Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Innovation Awards.

The awards recognize Project of the Year, Outstanding Single-Family Projects, Outstanding Multifamily Projects, Outstanding Affordable Projects, Outstanding Developer, and 2023 LEED Power Builders.

The Summit – a chance to make a meaningful impact on issues and opportunities facing plumbing and HVACR contractors and the industry – was hosted by Rheem Manufacturing, a PHCC Corporate Partner.

Co-locating with ASSE International's Annual Meeting and ARCSA Annual Conference, IAPMO will return to San Antonio, Sept. 24-28, for its 94th annual Education and Business Conference.

Attendees will gain the requisite knowledge, understanding, and competency to serve as a member of a facilities water safety team to help protect against Legionella outbreaks and react to one appropriately should it occur.

Proposals will not be accepted after Jan. 2, 2024.

ASHRAE has published its pioneering consensus-based, code-enforceable standard, developed to reduce the risk of infectious aerosol transmission in buildings.

 The deadline for public comments is July 31, 2023.

The deadline to submit comments is July 17.
