The second Fugitive Emissions Summit Americas Conference and Exhibition has concluded. Running alongside the Pump Summit Americas conference, with a shared exhibition, there were over 1,100 registered attendees for the 2-day event. The conference portion of the event consisted of workshops on everything from emission trends to regulatory updates and technologies. The event also included a Speakers’ Corner with presentations covering topics such as The Proper Way to Cut Valve Packing with live demonstrations.

“What’s so great about this conference is that we have broken down the barriers that have allowed the comfort zones to exist. Typically, you go to a conference and you gravitate to what you already know; you want to be the smartest person in the room. At this conference, we want to make people just a little bit uncomfortable so that they will broaden their horizons and learn something new,” said Rodney Roth, senior vice president for Beric Valves and co-chairman of the event. “The feedback we have received so far has been great, and we are looking forward to an even bigger event in 2020.”
