Comfort Systems Acquires DP Mechanical

Comfort Systems USA, Inc. acquired DP Mechanical Services headquartered in Indianapolis.

DP Mechanical Services is a plumbing and mechanical contractor based on the east side of Indianapolis. Focused on the service business, DP Mechanical Services offers a broad range of plumbing and mechanical services in central Indiana and conducts service operations across the state.

“We are excited to form this partnership,” said Don Glowinski, owner of DP Mechanical Services. “I believe Comfort Systems USA Indiana and DP Mechanical Services have a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, and I am very excited for the many opportunities this will bring our team members.”

This is the third acquisition by Comfort Systems in the Indianapolis market, and the second in the past twelve months. Comfort Systems in June acquired Compton Mechanical Systems Inc., a 35-year-old Indianapolis-based contractor with 30 employees.

Comfort Systems is a 21-year-old publicly traded company with more than 70 subsidiary businesses throughout the United States. It reported $1.79 billion in revenue in 2017 and a profit of more than $55 million.
