Company officials from Ferguson Enterprises broke ground on a new pipe yard to be built at the company’s distribution center near Celina, Ohio.
The distributor expects the 160,000-square-foot building to be up by November with most of the interior work to be completed over the winter. If all goes according to scheduled, the new facility, which will feature approximately 6 acres of pipe yard, should open for business by next March.
Jacob Tull of the Ferguson Enterprises distribution center told the local newspaper, the new operation will supply pipe to 110 Ferguson branches in five states. The $15 million project is expected to create 36 full-time jobs. The distribution center was the first built by Ferguson in the Midwest.
