Shapiro & Duncan, Inc. hired Leslie Titcomb, who will join the team as HVAC service manager. Titcomb joins Shapiro & Duncan with 25 years of commercial HVAC service experience.
Her career began in 1992 as a dispatcher and she continued to climb the ranks by assuming various roles as contract manager, commercial sales, facility manager and operations manager. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from West Virginia University.
“The entire Shapiro & Duncan team is thrilled to bring Leslie on board,” said Sheldon Shapiro, CEO, “Her extensive experience and passion for the job will make her a great asset.”
Adding to her already impressive background, Titcomb is an advocate for women in construction and was one of several finalists for a trade magazine’s 2014 Women of the Year. She also served on the National Board of Directors for Women in HVACR as treasurer from 2011-2016.
“I intend to use my experience to strengthen our HVAC service as well as work closely with our technicians and dispatchers to continue to keep our customers a priority,” said Titcomb, “Since I started, we added an additional dispatcher and two more technicians, with the plan of hiring more to help us better serve our clients as we continue to grow”
Fellow Shapiro & Duncan team member and previous Service Manager, Don Jenkins, is working closely with Titcomb in this leadership transition. Jenkins will focus on supporting inside sales and enhancing customer support as he continues to refine his retirement plans.
