MCAA will welcome Roscoe Bufkin, vice president of marketing communications at Mueller Industries, as the new manufacturer/supplier (M/S) vice chair beginning Jan. 1, 2027. He will join M/S Chair Mark Becker of Victaulic, who has generously agreed to extend his term for an additional year.

Roscoe brings extensive industry experience to the role. Since joining Mueller Industries in 1997, he has held leadership positions in marketing, sales, operations and human development, giving him a broad understanding of both his company and the industry. He has also been actively involved with MCAA and numerous industry, professional and community organizations for many years.

MCAA said looks forward to Roscoe bringing that experience and perspective to his new leadership role as he continues his involvement with the M/S community.

A Leadership Transition

Roscoe succeeds Kristie Upton, marketing leader at Trane Commercial, who recently retired after a distinguished career in the building materials industry. Kristie will remain involved through the end of 2026 to see the current education session planning process through.

MCAA also extends its sincere thanks to Mark for agreeing to continue as M/S Chair for an additional year. His extended term will provide continuity as Roscoe steps into the Vice Chair role and prepares to become Chair in 2028.

The M/S leadership terms will be:

• Mark Becker, M/S Chair: Term extended through March 2028
• Roscoe Bufkin, M/S Vice Chair: January 2027 through March 2028
• Roscoe Bufkin, M/S Chair: March 2028 through March 2030

MCAA said it looks forward to officially welcoming Roscoe in his new role at the M/S Council meeting during the MCAA Convention in March.
