tekmar has announced the launch of the Smart Boiler Control 294BAC, giving engineers, contractors and building owners a tekmar boiler control option for projects that require BACnet communication. BACnet is increasingly specified as part of commercial building control systems. The 294BAC addresses that requirement by adding native BACnet/IP and BACnet MS/TP communication to the proven functionality of the Smart Boiler Control 294, enabling integration with building automation systems (BAS), building management systems (BMS) and third-party analytics platforms. Designed to manage up to four boilers and expandable to 16, the 294BAC supports both condensing and non-condensing boiler plants. The control uses intelligent staging and outdoor reset control to optimize system performance and provides remote monitoring and notifications through Nexa by Watts.
