tekmar, a Watts brand, has announced the launch of the new Smart Heat Pump Control System, designed to streamline the installation and operation of hydronic heat pump systems. This innovative controller offers flexibility and efficiency for residential and light commercial applications. The Smart Heat Pump Control System operates up to four heat pumps in either 2-pipe or 4-pipe configurations, with the ability to expand control to 16 heat pumps through optional modules. It supports simultaneous heating and cooling of buffer tanks in 4-pipe systems and integrates seamlessly with a backup boiler loop using the tekmar Smart Boiler Control 294.
