Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US (METUS) has introduced the next generation of s-MEXT precision cooling systems for data centers, telecommunications facilities, server rooms and other high-sensible cooling applications. The systems are compatible with Mitsubishi Electric PUY and PUZ outdoor units using R-454B refrigerant and are available in 2-, 3.5- and 5-ton capacities. Features include a compact footprint, flexible airflow configurations and the EVOLUTION+ controller with a 7-inch touch screen for temperature and humidity management. LAN networking supports centralized monitoring, balancing and backup functionality, while inverter compressor technology and electronically commutated fans adjust power use to changing cooling loads.
