Coburn Supply Company has named Watson Boyd general manager for its Tennessee and Mississippi operations. Boyd will oversee the company’s operations and continued growth across both states.

Boyd brings 15 years of experience in the electrical, HVAC and industrial supply industries, with a background in sales, operations and customer relations. His leadership approach centers on building strong teams, removing obstacles and aligning sales and operations to serve customers more effectively.

During the transition, Boyd will work closely with current General Manager Kim Hardy before her retirement. Hardy’s experience, leadership and knowledge of the market will help Boyd become familiar with Coburn’s employees, customers and operations throughout Tennessee and Mississippi.

Boyd’s initial priorities include visiting branches throughout Tennessee and Mississippi, meeting employees and customers, strengthening existing relationships and ensuring each location has the support needed to serve its market consistently. His long-term goal is to position Coburn’s as the preferred plumbing, HVAC, electrical and waterworks supply partner throughout both states.

A native of the Memphis area, Boyd lives in Collierville, Tennessee, with his wife and their two sons. Outside of work, he enjoys coaching his sons’ sports teams, golfing, fishing, duck hunting and spending time with his family at the lake. The family is actively involved with Collierville First Baptist Church.
