Custom Pipe & Fabrication (CPF) is pleased to announce the promotion of Brian Goodpasture to chief operating officer (COO), recognizing his leadership, operational expertise and contributions to the continued growth of the company.
The promotion is part of CPF’s ongoing succession planning and organizational alignment efforts as the company continues transitioning from a branch-focused management structure to a product-line-focused operating model. Operations will be organized across three primary functional areas: Vertical Turbine Pump, Waterworks and Fabrication; each led by a Director of Operations reporting directly to Goodpasture.
Goodpasture joined Custom Pipe & Fabrication with a mandate to strengthen and develop the company’s operations organization to support CPF’s long-term growth. Since joining the company, he has led numerous operational initiatives, helped build and develop the operations leadership team, and successfully managed a wide range of projects and organizational challenges.
“Brian has consistently approached every challenge we have given him with professionalism, a can-do attitude and a focus on building a stronger Operations team,” said Greg Wood, President of Custom Pipe & Fabrication. “His ability to develop people, improve alignment and execute on our priorities has made him an important part of our leadership team. This promotion is a well-deserved next step, and I look forward to seeing Brian continue to grow in this role.”
As COO, Goodpasture will oversee CPF’s operations organization with a focus on strengthening coordination across product lines, developing operational leadership, improving efficiency and ensuring the company’s operational capabilities continue to scale alongside its customers and markets.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity and the confidence Greg and the leadership team have placed in me,” said Goodpasture. “We have an outstanding Operations team across Custom Pipe, and I’m excited to continue building on that foundation as we strengthen our processes, support our people and position the company for continued growth.”
