mSupply, a leading North American distributor of HVAC, appliance and plumbing products, has named Richard Garza Vice President of HR Operations, where he will lead the company’s Total Rewards and Payroll teams.
Garza brings more than a decade of Human Relations leadership experience, including mergers and acquisitions work, HR information systems implementations and migrations, and compensation and benefits strategy. He has held senior HR roles across various industries, with particular depth in scaling operations during periods of organizational growth and change.
“Richard has the kind of broad HR experience that is hard to find in one person,” said Kate Sberna, mSupply’s Chief Human Resources Officer. “He knows Total Rewards, he knows Payroll, and he has done serious M&A and systems work. That combination matters for where mSupply is headed. We’re glad to have him on the team.”
Garza was born on a U.S. Army base in Germany and raised between Paraguay and Brazil, an upbringing that gave him an early and lasting appreciation for different cultures and ways of working. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus in HR management from the University of Texas and pursued graduate studies in M&A and HRIS at Houston Christian University.
“Total Rewards and Payroll are how a company demonstrates its commitment to the people who do the work,” Garza said. “I’m looking forward to getting to know this team and making sure our programs reflect the quality of the organization mSupply is building.”
