Duravit, the leading luxury bathroom products manufacturer, announces an executive leadership update to drive the next phase of strategic growth across the Americas.

Oliver Bleich has been appointed president of Duravit Americas, effective Aug. 1, 2026. He succeeds Bob Downie, who concluded his tenure in July 2026.

This strategic leadership transition reinforces Duravit’s ongoing commitment to investing in the Americas, growing its premium and project business and strengthening its market position.

Bleich brings extensive international leadership experience in the premium interiors and design industry, having held senior positions at Dornbracht, SieMatic, and Keuco, and most recently serving as Executive Vice President at Fermob USA. His deep expertise and customer-focused approach are expected to accelerate Duravit's growth, deepen customer relationships, and further strengthen Duravit’s position as the brand of choice for architects, designers, trade partners and consumers in this key global market.

"I am truly honored to join Duravit as President for the Americas and deeply grateful for the confidence that the management team and the owners have placed in me. Throughout my career with premium brands in the kitchen & bath and home furnishings industries, I have been inspired by the power of exceptional design, innovation, and craftsmanship to shape the way people experience their living spaces,” reflects Bleich. “Duravit embodies these values at the highest level, and I am excited to lead the next chapter of its success in the Americas.”

The company extends its sincere gratitude to Downie for his years of leadership and dedication, which played a pivotal role in strengthening Duravit’s presence across the Americas.

With this strategic leadership transition, Duravit is well positioned to meet the evolving needs of its customers in the region, delivering exceptional products, reliable service, and lasting value to its partners.
