Busy trade professionals save valuable time when they can find everything they need in one place. To help contractors get what they need faster, F.W. Webb Company has opened a wholesale store and warehouse at 48 South Jefferson Road in Whippany, NJ, replacing its former Madison location. The 27,000-square-foot facility supports contractors, technicians, facility operators, and other trade professionals with expanded on-site product availability for plumbing, heating, HVACR, industrial, and institutional work.
“We searched extensively for the right location and arrived at a property that makes us well positioned to serve the skilled trades in Whippany and the surrounding communities,” said Bob Mucciarone, COO of F.W. Webb Company. “Our company has made a significant commitment to supplying trade professionals in the New York metropolitan area, and this larger, upgraded facility builds on our efforts to help them work more efficiently and more effectively.”
Designed for convenience and efficient access, the Whippany store provides trade professionals with the following benefits:
Comprehensive selection: With thousands of products on site, including multiple piping materials and a full assortment of condenser units, contractors gain access to a hub of replacement parts and complete systems for projects of all sizes.
Intuitive, easy-to-browse layout: Fittings, valves, tools, cleaning supplies, and other crucial items are arranged aisle by aisle in a self-serve, open-concept environment.
Easily accessible location: Convenient access to Routes 80, 287, and 10 helps trade professionals return to work promptly.
New features: Will-call ordering via text, phone, or F.W. Webb’s mobile app allows contractors to pick up purchases quickly and keep their projects moving.
“At F.W. Webb, giving our customers the highest level of service is our priority, and this new facility allows us to truly address their needs with an extensive product selection and easy-to-browse design,” said Peter Sramowicz, General Manager of F.W. Webb’s Whippany operations. “We look forward to supporting professionals, from one-van contractors to operators of large facilities, with a variety of services and the guidance of our experienced and knowledgeable team.”
The new location is staffed by employees from the former Madison location. F.W. Webb will also hire for critical roles, bringing additional employment opportunities to the area.
Operations manager Ryan Zaborowski, store manager Josh Siemons, and the F.W. Webb team are now serving customers Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Later this year, a Frank Webb Home bath, kitchen, and lighting showroom will open at the site, giving homeowners, designers, and contractors access to industry-leading fixtures and accessories. The retail showroom will replace the existing Madison location and feature fully operational displays and a no-pressure shopping experience.
Whippany’s opening extends F.W. Webb’s expansion across the mid-Atlantic region. Earlier this year, the company opened a store in Somerdale, NJ, and is also opening a wholesale location in Central Islip, NY. Next year, F.W. Webb will unveil its second central distribution facility in Hazleton, PA.
F.W. Webb is reinforcing this regional expansion by raising its profile throughout the Tri-State area. The company’s partnerships now include Madison Square Garden, MetLife Stadium, the New Jersey Devils, the New York Yankees, and New York City FC — further strengthening its connection with the communities it serves.
