The Training Center, a New Jersey trade school with over 40 years track record of launching successful careers in the skilled trades, today announced the launch of its inaugural TradeReady Summer Program. This 10-day accelerated multi-trade bootcamp, running this August at the Wrightstown facility is designed to give students ages 16–19 and recent graduates a hands-on head start in one of the state’s most in-demand essential trades.

Historically, the TradeReady curriculum has been integrated directly into high school Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. This new summer boot camp format marks a strategic expansion, allowing parents and students to take their future into their own hands independently of their local school district’s offerings.

Recognizing that many students are curious about the trades but unsure where to start, the program is built around a "career test drive" model. Over the course of the program, held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and select Fridays this August, students gain hands-on training and exposure to HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing. By building foundational skills in all three areas, participants can move past the guesswork and identify which high-paying career path aligns with their natural aptitudes before they even graduate high school.

"We saw a massive gap where families wanted this training, but their schools weren't yet on board," said Dan Moscatiello, Program Director at The Training Center. "This boot camp is about exploration and foundation. In just 10 days, we are giving students the rare opportunity to test drive the three most stable trades, HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing, so they can gain hands-on skills and the clarity needed to choose the career path that truly fits their future.

The TradeReady 10-Day Intensive Includes the following:

Real-World Hands-On Training: Participants spend 60% of their time out of the classroom and in the shop. This program prioritizes building foundational skills and gaining practical experience rather than relying on textbook theory.

Three-Trade Test Drive: Students rotate through the three most in-demand sectors: HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing. They gain direct experience in multiple trades while exploring different in-demand career paths.

Industry Networking: Beyond technical skills, participants have the unique opportunity to connect with licensed trade professionals and industry experts. Students can ask questions about the day-to-day reality of the trades and receive a clear, professional roadmap for their future education and career journey.

Personalized Instruction: Small Class Sizes allows for every student receives the direct coaching, support, and supervision needed to safely learn the trades.

Pro-Grade Training Environment: All learning takes place at The Training Center’s Wrightstown campus, which includes fully equipped, professional-grade labs. Students train on the same high-caliber equipment used by licensed professionals in the field today.
