Synergy Solution Group hosted its 2026 Dispatch Forum from March 15 to 18 in Chicago. The event brought together dispatchers and service coordinators from member companies to focus on communication, scheduling, and operational performance.

Day one featured a session led by Lisa Withers on managing people, pressure, and relationships in real time. Attendees explored communication styles using the DiSC framework and participated in exercises focused on self-awareness and adapting communication across teams.

Day two focused on applying these concepts through peer discussions and scenario-based activities. Members worked through scheduling challenges, field productivity decisions, and strategies for prioritizing service calls.

Additional discussions covered preventative maintenance planning, technology adoption, and the role of dispatch in supporting profitability and customer relationships.

The forum also addressed the demands of the dispatch role, including workload, communication challenges, and maintaining consistency in a fast-paced environment. Members shared approaches to managing stress and supporting team performance.

The Dispatch Forum is part of Synergy Solution Group’s ongoing peer group programming, which provides members with opportunities to collaborate, share practices, and improve performance across their organizations.

“The best part was meeting so many amazing people who have the same job title and duties as I do,” said Lauren McCormick (Dee Cramer). “Listening to their strengths and their struggles and realizing even though we’re so different, we’re all very much alike.”
