In today’s plumbing and PVF marketplace, reliability, safety and product availability remain constant priorities for wholesalers and contractors. VPC Global is a manufacturer and distributor serving plumbing, piping and infrastructure markets through multiple divisions, including VPC Tanks. Headquartered in Valencia, California, the company offers product solutions across several categories, including gas piping products, appliance connectors and related systems.
This month, VPC Tanks will officially open its East Coast location — an expansion aimed at supporting delivery speed and meeting regional market needs. The Wholesaler sat down with Andrew Dervin, CEO of VPC Global, to discuss the VPC Tanks division, the company’s growth strategy, and how it is positioning itself in an evolving market.

The Wholesaler: Andrew, please tell us more about VPC Tanks, its offerings, and the values that guide the approach to growth and customer service.
Andrew Dervin: VPC Tanks is a division of VPC Global. We offer a range of vertical storage tanks and underground storage and septic tanks, all made here in the United States. We are relentlessly in pursuit of producing the highest quality tanks at the best price with the fastest delivery, and we’re well on our way.
TW: The expansion tank line continues to gain traction in the wholesale market. What sets your tanks apart, and what innovations or features matter most to your customers?
AD: Fast delivery, affordability and convenience are the most important things to our customers. What sets us apart is that we build to create inventory, rather than building to order. So instead of waiting six to eight weeks for your tank, we can start shipping it out within 24 hours of receiving the order. That is critical to any project, person or company. Not only do we ship fast, but we ship reliably as well. Our tanks are all shipped out on pallets, which allows our customers to easily remove them off trucks and reduces the chance of damaging the tank — saving our customer time and money.
TW: The company recently made the strategic decision to open a facility in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. What drove this decision?
AD: Our customers — it’s that plain and simple. We want to be able to serve customers across the U.S., and adding an East Coast operation achieves that goal. With the opening of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, we can produce more tanks and ensure customers receive affordable, timely shipping whether they are in Idaho, Texas or New Hampshire. We will begin shipping tanks from this location March 1, 2026, and we couldn’t be more excited.
TW: How does this location support your long-term growth goals while improving freight efficiency and service for customers in the region?
AD: Rocky Mount is absolutely crucial to our long-term goals. The additional capacity for production means we can bring more models to market and dedicate production to state-specific septic system requirements, such as Florida and New Jersey, as well as increase our ability to ship our tanks out to customers faster and in more areas of the U.S.
TW: As VPC Tanks continues to expand its national footprint, how does customer feedback and evolving distributor needs influence decisions?
AD: Our goal is to consistently produce the best tanks in the market while providing the best customer service, and the only way that we are able to do that is by understanding customer pain points and preferences. Every call that we receive, every email communication, or face-to-face interaction, we take into account when producing and shipping our tanks because listening to our customers is the best way to know how we can improve.

TW: Can you share with us VPC Tanks’ priorities for growth?
AD: Our top priority moving forward is to continue expanding our product lines. We want to be customers’ first choice when they think of their tank needs, and to do that we need to continue to produce high-quality tanks and accessories that fit nearly every situation. In 2026, we’re bringing an additional 24 new tanks to the market.
TW: What would you say is the “secret sauce” to the company’s success?
AD: Our secret sauce is our flexibility and availability for our customers. We always want to put them first, so allowing ourselves to pivot when needed, or reprioritize when needed to ensure we’re giving them the best possible customer experience is of high importance to us. Our customers always come first.
