Heatcraft Refrigeration Products has expanded its CO₂ refrigeration portfolio with a new 90bar low-profile unit cooler and a new CO₂ vertical condensing unit. CO₂ is a natural refrigerant with a global warming potential of 1 that meets current regulations and is unlikely to face future phaseouts. Heatcraft’s expanded offering extends these benefits to more applications while helping reduce risk and retrofit costs. The 90bar CO₂ low-profile unit cooler is designed for walk-in food retail and restaurant applications and will be available later this year. A new 15-horsepower CO₂ vertical condensing unit, the first in a new platform, will be available later in 2026.
