The Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA), in partnership with long-time safety partner CNA, is accepting applications for the 2026 MCAA/CNA Safety Excellence Awards Program. The annual awards recognize MCAA member companies for exceptional safety and health programs, as well as innovative initiatives that advance jobsite safety.
The program honors companies that demonstrate a strong commitment to protecting the health and safety of their workforce.
To be eligible, companies must submit an application by Jan. 30, 2026. Applications must include a description of the company’s 2025 safety and health program and an explanation of why it merits recognition, along with details about a safety innovation that contributed to exceptional performance during the year.
This year, award categories have been updated to reflect the industry’s continued growth. Companies will be grouped into five categories based on total hours worked, with one winner selected in each category:
Category 1: 0–200,000 hours
Category 2: 200,001–500,000 hours
Category 3: 500,001–1 million hours
Category 4: 1,000,001–1.5 million hours
Category 5: More than 1.5 million hours
Winners will receive national recognition and a glass award.
