On Oct. 9, 2025, the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE) New York City Chapter celebrated its 50^th Anniversary with a cruise on the Majesty. Chartered on Oct. 27, 1975, the chapter has grown into one of the most dynamic and influential voices within ASPE — with 440 members and growing — helping engineers, designers and industry professionals advance both their careers and the built environment.

“As we celebrate this 50-year milestone aboard this unforgettable cruise, let us reflect on our rich history and look forward to an even brighter future,” said Robb A. Risani, PE, CPD, GPD, LEED AP, ASSE 6060, Region 1 Director and immediate past president of the New York City ASPE chapter. “The NYC Chapter has always been, and will continue to be, a beacon of excellence in the plumbing engineering profession.”

During the event, the chapter installed its officers for the 2025-2027 term.
