Bosch Home Comfort has unveiled new R-454B versions of its Bosch IDP Plus and IDP Premium Heat Pumps to comply with low global warming potential (GWP) A2L refrigerant requirements. These models use low GWP R-454B refrigerant while continuing to offer simple, seamless installation—making it easy to cool and heat #LikeABosch. The Bosch IDP Plus (R-454B Version) maintains the same efficiency and comfort at the standard 16-SEER2 level, now meeting updated refrigerant standards. It comes in three-ton and five-ton models. The Bosch IDP Premium (R-454B Version) qualifies for maximum energy rebates and features an inverter compressor that operates from 33% to 114% speed, modulating in 1% increments for optimal energy use. It is also available in three- and five-ton models.
