Bosch Home Comfort has launched its R-454B-equipped Inverter Ducted Split (IDS) Family heat pump line. Inverter heat pumps from Bosch provide efficient comfort by adjusting compressor capacity, using only the energy needed. Now equipped with low-Global Warming Potential (GWP) A2L refrigerant R-454B, the inverter solutions promise reduced greenhouse gas emissions. The IDS Family includes IDS Light, a premium inverter for warmer climates; IDS Plus, providing inverter-powered comfort affordably; IDS Premium Connected, compatible with the Bosch EasyAir app; IDS Ultra Cold Climate Heat Pump, Bosch’s first for sub-zero temperatures; BGH96 Gas Furnace, a dual fuel system with 96% Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE); and Cased Coils, air source heat pump and geothermal accessories. R-454B Air Handler Units are available for each system type.
