Globe Union, parent company of Gerber Plumbing Fixtures, a manufacturer of tried and true, high-quality kitchen and bathroom plumbing products, is pleased to announce several organizational changes.
Over the course of the past two years, and prior to founder Scott Ouyoung’s passing, Globe Union CEO Todd Talbot, has been working on the elevation of Scott’s son, Shane, into the role of Global CEO of Globe Union. In anticipation of Todd’s long-planned retirement at the close of 2023, Shane Ouyang will be assuming this role effective Jan. 1, 2024. Todd will continue to serve Globe Union as an advisor to the board of directors.
“It has been an honor to serve Globe Union and our customers around the world. I look forward to the continued success of the company under Shane’s leadership and supporting him through this transition into 2024,” Talbot shared.
In support of Globe Union’s ongoing vision of maximizing the company’s strength of operating as a unified, global company, Jack Hung joined the organization on June 1, 2023, as senior executive vice president, reporting to the global CEO. Overseeing the functions of manufacturing, supply chain, and product development, Hung will be promoted to a presidential role in this capacity on September 1, 2023.
To increase the coherency of the company’s commercial strategies and promote more effective collaboration between global product and operations and marketing and sales teams, as of July 10, Kevin Buckner has joined the company in the newly created role of chief commercial officer, reporting to the global CEO.
Carmen Fiordirosa, vice president of marketing, North America, will be promoted to the role of president of Globe Union North America to oversee the North American sales, marketing, customer care, and human resources teams, and will report to Buckner, effective Sept. 1, 2023.
Nathalie Vandecraen, president of Globe Union Europe, maintaining the same role and responsibilities, will also report to Buckner, effective Sept. 1, 2023.
Keith Yurko, CEO, North America, in conjunction with his retirement planning in the coming years, will transition to the new role of executive adviser, effective Jan, 1, 2024, to assist the company through the aforementioned changes.
“I am humbled by my many years in this company, and most of all, by getting to know our employees and our customers," Yurko said. "I will be leaving the Gerber brand in incredibly talented and capable hands, and I know the next generation of leadership will continue to do remarkable things.”
