UMC Adds Several New Employees

In the past months, UMC has been fortunate to add several quality employees to its many departments within the company.

In the Major Projects Group, Kyle Tilley, Colton Richards, and Matthew Zambon were hired as project engineers to support the project managers in tracking and reporting labor hours, document control, schedule coordination, submittals, and other project related duties on and off the project jobsite.

In the Special Projects Group, Griffin Brady, TJ Watanabe, Matty Hicks, and Mason Chaussee joined as project managers. They are responsible for managing projects, acting as single points of contact for project clients, developing and maintaining positive working relationships, and bringing their projects to successful completion, on time and on budget. The group also welcomed Kamil Ettaki and Colin Helgeson, EIT as project engineers to support the project managers with submittals, RFI’s (Requests for Information), creating new business proposals, and vendor communication.

In the Building Automation Group, Ryan Jacoby joined as a building automation technician. He is responsible for programming controllers, building graphics, and equipment installation to ensure all associated systems are functioning efficiently. Corey Clausen joined the group as an engineer. His focus is on hardware and software engineering, as well as supporting equipment installations.

The Energy and Environment Group recently hired Hailee Hammerquist, LEED Green Associate, as an energy engineer. In her role, she will create energy models for new and existing facilities and develop energy conservation projects through on-site auditing and engineering analysis, as well as coordinate client communications, and assist with LEED certification on design-build projects

In the Industrial Group, Abraham Hagos, Lisa Gerboth, and Gavin Vodopich were hired as project engineers. As project engineers, they assist in every phase of a project with estimating and bids, drafting submittals, and communicating with vendors to source material quotes and lead times. ShirleyAnn England also joined the group as a project coordinator to support the project teams and execute a project framework that ensures each project is completed successfully.

Danielle Tieskotter joined the Facility Services Group as an operations coordinator. She is responsible for scheduling and dispatch of 24/7 Service HVAC and plumbing technicians, as well as providing customer service.

Michael Feaster joined the Estimating Department as an estimator. He is responsible for accurate, consistent, and deliberate project estimates.

In the Finance Group, Todd Ryland joined as assistant controller supporting department leaders across UMC to stay organized and manage their fiscal needs. Cristine Yerxa joined the group as a project accountant assisting project managers in the procurement of new job requests, preparation of subcontracts, and oversite of vendor billing.
