The Part Works Expands to Portland

The Part Works Inc. is officially opening its first brick-and-mortar location in Portland, Oregon. This new store is a major move for the company, allowing The Part Works to better service its Portland customers by supplying locally available plumbing repair and replacement parts and expertise.

The Part Works new Portland location is set to open for customers May 9, 2022, with a showroom/training center grand opening to follow.

“We have been supporting commercial facilities in Portland most of our 41 years in business,” said Katie Parris, president at The Part Works. Having a sales counter and warehouse locally has been a dream for more than a decade. This space will allow us to better support immediate customer product needs, while also providing a space for in-person training events, manufacturer events, new product demonstrations, and hosting other trade partner events. We are delighted to share our breadth of plumbing maintenance and repair support expertise with Portland maintenance professionals for years to come.”

This announcement comes on the heels of The Part Works recent expansion into the Phoenix Arizona region where The Part Works most senior technical specialist, Morgan Kennedy, recently relocated.

“We’re growing,” said Larry Farley, product manager. “And We’re growing in ways that our online-only competitors simply can’t. We provide in-person, real human commercial plumbing experts to our customers. This isn’t an algorithm, we’re here to support your facility up-time, with the best materials for your specific need.”

The Part Works is a privately held, women-owned, wholesale plumbing supplier. It specializes in supplying Maintenance, Repair and Operation (MRO) materials for government and private industry customers ranging from universities, parks and school districts, to hospitals, military installations, and prisons. The Part Works provides a unique combination of high-touch traditional in-person and on-site product identification and troubleshooting, with an advanced digital toolbox including an extensive website, as well as MMS, and live chat technical support options. As a certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE), The Part Works provides world-class service with a small business sensibility.
