Did you know? The Chicago Journeymen Plumbers Local Union 130 UA has carried out the task of dyeing the Chicago River green for St. Patrick’s Day nearly every year since 1962. Chicagoans returned downtown on March 12 to watch the event for the city’s first large St. Patrick's Day celebration since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
