Delwood Supply Co-Founder Joseph S. Fisher Jr. Passes Away

Joseph S. Fisher Jr., age 94 of West Bloomfield, passed away Sept. 28, 2021.

Mr. Fisher was cofounder of Delwood Supply in Royal Oak. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was a Third Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus, Monaghan Council.

He was the beloved husband of the late Mary Ellen. Loving father of Joseph (Noreen), Karen (Eric) Graham, Sue Ellen Sykes, Mark (Karen), John (Claudia), James (Mary), and Colleen (Robert) Doty. Dear grandfather of Maura, Alyssa, Adam, Mario Jr., Erin, John, James, Mark Jr., David, Caitlin, John Jr., Christopher, Heather, Kenneth, the late Matthew, Kayla, Jamie, Grace, Jessica and Ryan. Great-grandfather Phebe, Samantha, Claire, Nora, Anna, Lucy Jo, Mark III, Lizzie, Madelyn, Damon, Shane and Mason.

Visitation for Mr. Fisher will be held on Friday, October 1st, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a eulogy and rosary service at 6:45 p.m. at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. He will lie in state on Saturday, October 2nd, at 10:30 a.m. until the time of his Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 4300 Walnut Lake Rd., West Bloomfield. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield.
