J.C. Whitlam Manufacturing Co. recently recognized its manufacturers representative, Manufacturers Marketing Inc. (MMI) with a sales achievement award. Mark Whitlam, vice president of sales for Whitlam, presented the organization with a plaque honoring its record sales for the Indiana territory. MMI covers the plumbing, HVAC, waterworks, fire protection and irrigation markets for Whitlam.

Whitlam is the oldest specialty chemical company in the industry with over 121 of manufacturing quality sealants, lubricants, solvent weld cements, and over 300 related products. MMI has served the Indiana and Kentucky plumbing markets as a manufacturer’s representative for over 40 years. Originally founded as Lunsford & Associates by Harlin Lunsford, the company was purchased by Harlin’s son, Paul S. Lunsford in 1989 and re-named Manufacturers Marketing Inc. MMI is now owned by long-time employees, Mark Reed and Tony Titus. MMI has represented Whitlam since 2017.
