Dan Heichelbech

TCM Corp., a mechanical contractor in the Pacific Northwest based in Portland, announced Aug. 1 the appointment of Dan Heichelbech as the company’s president. In his new role, Heichelbech will ensure the continued success of TCM and the fulfillment of the company’s commitment to serve all clients with integrity, excellence, and accountability.

With more than 19 years of experience at TCM, Heichelbech began his career at TCM as a project engineer providing support for TCM’s high tech projects and quickly excelled, leading to successive promotions to project manager, senior project manager, director of operations, vice president of operations, and now president.

"At TCM, we are committed to demonstrating a passion for client service excellence and design innovation in every aspect of operations,” Heichelbech said. “I look forward to continuing to cultivate an environment where our professionals are able to work and grow in a culture that supports them while ultimately enhancing this passion.”

Under Heichelbech’s leadership, TCM will maintain an unwavering commitment to its customer-focused core values. The company also will continue to build collaborative partnerships that ensure accountability and provide the insight necessary to anticipate client needs and deliver innovative and practical solutions they have come to expect.

Heichelbech holds an MBA from the University of Oregon’s Lundquist College of Business and a bachelor’s degree in building construction management from Purdue University. He is a board member of the Lean Construction Institute’s Cascadia Chapter, SMACNA Future Leaders member, and Important Business Leaders of Portland member, active member of the PMCA/UA Strategic Planning Committee, and a LEED Accredited Professional BD + C.

“Dan’s transition is the result of a methodical and deliberate plan developed and put into action over the past eight months,” stated Jay Culbertson, TCM CEO and immediate past president. “He exemplifies TCM’s core values and has earned the trust and respect of our employees over these past several years. I am excited for the future of our company.”
