Event Description

The Ninth Annual Celebrating Women in the Mechanical Trade Industry Luncheon is hosted by the Mechanical Trade Contractors of Arizona (MTCAZ). The event will feature Danielle Putnam, president of Women in HVACR and The New Flat Rate, as its keynote speaker, as well as guest speaker Carol Longacre, connected home program manager for Service Nation Alliance. Approximately 80 women are expected to attend.

Putnam's discussion will be centered around “Shattering the Glass Ceiling.” Topics include:

  • Women in the Trades: Going After What You Want
  • Leadership: “Don’t Catch a Falling Knife”
  • Strategizing Your Growth
  • Growth in a Team: Passing the Baton Correctly

Longacre will discuss "Balancing Work and Home." She will share tips and ways to prioritize one's time, take care of oneself, when and how to say no and celebrate one's wins.

This annual women's luncheon also features a plated lunch, goodie bag for each attendee, premium select exhibitors, free chair massages, and more. The luncheon is open to the public.
