There is a tremendous need for raising funds and awareness for food pantries across the United States. PVF Roundtable board member Harold Armstrong, Armstrong Weatherly, saw the need firsthand while visiting college campuses to bring awareness to the PVF industry and its scholarship fund. He came face to face with students struggling with hunger; while learning and training on a new path in life, most often, they must sacrifice food in order to pay for their education. The stress of inconsistent meals, combined with working and completing online courses during a pandemic, is affecting students tremendously in a negative way.
Food pantries are being hit hard — especially now because of COVID-19. But, there is an avenue for help, and the PVF Roundtable has stepped in to show how our industry supports the trades — in body and soul. Please show your support by making a financial donation to the PVF Stock the Pantry fund, and we promise, your donation will go directly to stocking the food supply to those college campuses and trade schools that are helping to foster the care and direction of our future leaders.
