Hansgrohe USA is excited to announce it is the exclusive kitchen and bath fixture sponsor of the High Point Designers' Showhouse, held from Oct. 19 – Nov. 3 in High Point, North Carolina. Benefitting the Junior League of High Point and sponsored by ASPIRE DESIGN & HOME, approximately 20 designers will come together to each design a room in the historic, two-story Dalton-Bell-Cameron House. The earliest documented Craftsman style home in High Point, it has twice endured devastating fires and was at one point slated for demolition. The Showhouse will help offset expenses of the costly preservation efforts. The kitchen and bath spaces throughout the residence will feature hansgrohe's Joleena collection, an exciting new collection of transitional bathroom faucets and accessories, shower components, and kitchen faucets that launches this month.
Oliver Bahr, president of Hansgrohe USA, said, "We are pleased to participate in this year's High Point Designers' Showhouse. It has given us the opportunity to help support the preservation of a landmark property, as well as showcase the versatility and exceptional design of our new Joleena collection. We're pleased such an incredibly talented group of designers are the first to specify and install the collection in the residence—we can't wait to see the big reveal!"
Inspired by the home's rich history, Allen and James Interiors opted for a "new traditional" aesthetic in the first-floor kitchen. The Joleena HighArc Kitchen Faucet in polished nickel will take center stage in the space and will be complemented by cabinetry, countertops, and finishes with clean yet classic elements—a perfect backdrop for entertaining and family dinners. On the second floor, a sage-hued master bathroom designed by Courtney McLeod of Right Meets Left Interior Design, will be at once serene and vibrant. The room will feature a stylish shower outfitted with hansgrohe's new Joleena 1-Jet Showerhead—which emits a voluminous spray while operating at just 1.75 gallons per minute–and the complementary Joleena Shower Trim in brushed nickel. hansgrohe's Joleena Tall Single Hole Faucet and Talis S Freestanding Tub Filler with handshower in brushed nickel will add elegance to the his and her sinks and the bathtub.
Just down the hall, High Point native Kate Hutchison of kate.h.design, will offer another stunning shower oasis incorporating hansgrohe's Joleena 1-jet Showerhead. The room will also feature the Joleena Widespread Faucet in polished nickel, as well as a Joleena collection toilet paper holder, towel ring, and robe hooks—the clean lines, classic shapes, and the warm undertones of the polished nickel finish will perfectly play off the gold and soft pink decorative accents Hutchison has in play. Finally, in the first-floor powder bath, Elissa Grayer, of Elissa Grayer Design, selected the Joleena Widespread Faucet in a rich matte black finish. The dark hue of the faucet forms a strong point of reference against the room's textured walls and provides contrast to the rosy pink patterned fabric that adorns the window shade. A single piece of dark quartz will span the floor, "grounding" the space and allowing the decorative elements to flourish.
The High Point Designers' Showhouse is open Oct. 19 – Nov. 3, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., with extended hours Sunday, Oct. 20, from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased online at www.jlhp.org/showhouse2019.
