IAPMO and their Jordanian partners have been working together toward the development of a Uniform Plumbing Code – Jordan for several years. 

TIA UMC 001-18, 002-18, 003-18, and 004-18 revise UMC Chapter 2, Chapter 11, and Appendix E to update ASHRAE extracts to the latest editions of the ASHRAE 15, ASHRAE 34, ASHRAE 62.2, and ASHRAE 90.1 standards.

Committees are assembled in accordance with the Regulations Governing Committee Projects and the Guide for the Conduct of Participants in the IAPMO codes and standards development process. 

Challenge brings together design, construction and education to improve public health in regions where communities are still threatened by a lack of basic sanitation and safe drinking water systems.

A broad coalition of industry experts – installers, inspection officials, contractors, engineers, and manufacturers – considered public comments to amend the USEHC and USPSHTC 

Written submissions in support or opposition to an appeal must be submitted by Oct. 31.

IAPMO will publish the first edition of WE•Stand in 2017, the first-ever ANSI standard that focuses solely on achieving safer and more efficient water use in both residential and non-residential buildings.
