ASHRAE has formally opened its new global headquarters building, following a ribbon-cutting ceremony, attended by its board of directors, top building campaign donors, elected officials and local guests.

The company cites networking and collaboration opportunities as key benefits of the membership.

At a hosted side event, the organization highlighted growing building stock, consensus-based standards, and building industry involvement.

Each year, winners are chosen in ten industry categories to represent the most innovative products and technologies hitting the market in the coming year.

ASHRAE's new global headquarters will operate at net-zero-energy performance following the recent installation of a large photovoltaic system.

Bluon claims the top 2022 award for its industry-leading platform to support technicians.

Representatives from AHR Expo show management, along with co-sponsors ASHRAE and AHRI, met the week of Oct. 4 in Vegas for an in-person planning meeting for the 2022 event.

The agreement specifies the path forward and defines parameters by which the organizations will work cooperatively to promote the advancement of emerging research and technologies to support a more sustainable built environment.

Registration for the conference, to be held Jan. 29-Feb. 2, provides entry to the co-sponsored AHR Expo, Jan. 31-Feb. 2, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The expo will return to Las Vegas Jan. 31-Feb. 2, 2022, after a forced cancellation in 2021 planned for Chicago.
