The horrific fire at Notre-Dame cathedral in Paris in April tells a story of heroic actions by firefighters that prevented even greater damage and avoided loss of life. It also reveals vital lessons for those of us involved in engineering fire protection. 

Annually, the American Society of Plumbing Engineer’s (ASPE) Tech Symposium aids plumbing industry professionals in gaining new skills from experts in the field. The 2019 symposium will take place at the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown from October 24-27.

The legislation would reinstate and reform two key energy efficiency tax credits that expired Dec. 31, 2017 – the 25C credit for homeowner efficiency improvements and the 45L credit for new home construction.

The new partnership focuses on the complementary products and solutions provided by both parties in three main areas: water and wastewater applications, industrial automation and building technology.

Today, more than 2,000 WaterSense partners, including manufacturers, water utilities, retailers, distributors, trade associations, state and local governments and non-profit organizations, collaborate with the EPA on the program.
