Batteries are a key piece of technology missing on the path to a future of sustainable energy. Homes need a better way to store electricity to avoid peak utility demand periods. 

Denver Water’s new administration building incorporates a plant-based blackwater system and a rainwater system to conserve potable water. Implementing such strategies took water-efficient design to the next leveland did not come without challenges.

Armed with three COVID-19 shots and a flu shot, I was able to visit different cities once again and review climate solutions for buildings, transportation, microgrids and other power systems.

Scheduled to take place from May 9 – 11, 2022, ISH China & CIHE will focus on three primary themes: energy, water and life, which are in line with China’s national development strategies.
