In celebration of National Backflow Prevention Day on August 16, Watts has announced a special eLearning challenge.

National Backflow Prevention Day, Aug. 16, celebrates backflow prevention and cross-connection control and those who install, maintain, and test backflow preventers.

Backflow prevention is vital for the safety of our potable water supply; the technology stops “undesirable” fluids, such as sewer water or chemicals, from contaminating our drinking water. National Backflow Prevention Day, Aug. 16, raises awareness of the critical issue.

This award is a great representation of the hard work and team effort between FEBCO and its rep agencies.

The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close in January 2024. 

Industry stakeholders are invited and encouraged to apply to participate in the development of the standards.
