Uponor North America has again been honored with two Governor’s Safety Awards by the Minnesota Safety Council.

Richard Medairos, P.E., Taco senior systems engineer and commercial trainer, was presented the Dan Holohan Lifetime Contribution to Comfort Award at Taco Comfort Solutions’ press conference at the AHR Expo.

This marks the first year A. O. Smith has been recognized, joining more than 135 other honorees, spanning 19 countries and 46 industries over the award’s 18-year run. 

The Tacoma plumbing and electrical provider ranks among the fastest-growing private companies based in Washington, Oregon, California, Hawaii and Alaska.

The global brand earns multiple accolades for its stunning immersive booth, innovative products, and wellness experiences.

As the industry’s premier awards program, Best of KBIS, sponsored by Luxe Interiors + Design, recognizes the pioneers and trailblazers who are behind the most cutting edge and innovative products in the kitchen and bath industry.

The Trane Fort Smith employees achieved 5,000,000 work hours, approximately twelve years, without a lost day away from work due to a work-related injury or illness on Oct. 31, 2023.

Interested participants may enter the competition by submitting a nomination by July 19, 2024.

The award recognizes contractors who are visionaries, game-changers, and the driving forces behind continuous improvement. 

The awards honor products and industry leaders in design and manufacturing that have chartered new directions for innovation.
