The new web app contains specified welding information for 14 of Asahi/America’s butt and socket welding tools. Available welding information through the web app includes welding temperature, initial melt pressure, bead height, heat soak time, change-over time, weld pressure and cooling time for Asahi’s single wall, double wall, industrial, and commercial piping systems. The web app also includes a built-in timer.

Users can access the web app via computer, smart phone or any handheld device with internet access. Obtaining and using welding parameters through the web app is simple and intuitive; first users choose the weld tool, then select the piping system, product line and material, and pipe size. Users can easily print or save parameters.

Asahi/America maintains a large selection of welding equipment to rent or purchase. Only trained personnel with certification should operate welding equipment. Asahi/America can provide onsite training on the operation of welding equipment and proper installation of materials.
