Danfoss Dual Voltage/Dual Frequency Solenoid Coils

Danfoss Dual Voltage/Dual Frequency Solenoid Coils

Danfoss has introduced a pair of new dual voltage/dual frequency solenoid valve coils for North America: the BT with junction box and the BU with conduit boss. The new BT and BU coils are compatible with Danfoss' line of robust EVR refrigeration duty solenoid valves. The new coils extend the Danfoss lineup beyond the existing offerings of extensive single voltage coils. Commonly used in walk-in coolers, freezers, and food retail display cases, they are also easily applied in air conditioning applications.

With these new UL-certified coils, OEMs can provide greater flexibility to customers, allowing orders to be placed when the field operating voltage and frequency are unknown. Contractors can reduce their on-hand stock by carrying just one coil design instead of multiple coils. Each coil can operate at one of four voltage/frequency combinations: 110V/50Hz, 110–120V/60Hz, 230V/50Hz, or 208–240Hz.
