Webstone mourns passing of its President Michael Reck

January 7, 2016
Michael Reck

It is with the deepest sadness and regret that we share news of the passing of Webstone Company, Inc. President Michael Reck.

On Dec. 24, Michael’s brief, but powerful battle with an aggressive form of cancer came to an end. His journey in life as husband, father, brother, friend and leader was one of love, compassion and integrity.

Michael’s highly successful career led him to Webstone in the 1990’s; and he ultimately decided to purchase the company in 1999. Together with Executive Vice President Fernando Mireles, they created a new vision for what was to become “Webstone Innovation.”

Under this leadership, Webstone became known for strategic product development; designing of some of the industry’s most innovative products and securing numerous patents. Today, many of the most commonly used products in hydronic and plumbing systems are a result of that growth and innovation.

Michael’s life and career were dedicated to making the world a better place. His generous contributions to many charitable organizations, neighborhood groups, industry causes and his love of the sea have left an indelible mark that will be forever remembered and greatly missed. His love and passion for Webstone and its family of employees is evidenced by its continued success and growth.  Until a suitable replacement is appointed, Webstone will continue operation by its senior management team with the honor, integrity and dedication that Michael instilled in all of us.
