Distech Controls’ ECLYPSE nLight Solution and HORYZON-C display are shortlisted in the “BAS, Controls, Energy Management” category for Consulting-Specifying Engineer 2018 Product of the Year (POY) awards. The POY awards educate engineers on the most notable product innovations within the HVAC, fire, electrical and plumbing systems engineering markets.

The ECLYPSE nLight Solution was recognized for its ability to unify any HVAC and lighting application, including nLight lighting controls, for up to 48 IO points and 300 lighting devices. BTL listed as a BACnet Building Controller, the solution further extends Distech Controls’ open offering by supporting multiple communication protocols, like BACnet/IP and Modbus.

HORYZON-C, an IP-based capacitive and multi-touch color display, allows access to internal data of controllers for all comfort parameters such as HVAC, lighting and blinds in a building. The all-in-one device was recognized for its multi-touch gesture support (such as pinch-to-zoom) and dynamic screen brightness as well as pre-loaded visual interface for simplified commissioning, operations and troubleshooting.
