Major League Baseball's postseason is here, and the Chicago Cubs have clinched a playoff spot for the first time since 2008. The team, its fans and the City of Chicago gear up for the postseason with great excitement and anticipation. On October 7, the Cubs will face the Pittsburgh Pirates for a Wild Card game to begin their postseason journey.
"Congratulations to the Cubs. We're proud to be a Legacy Partner and the Cubs' Official Water Efficiency Partner," said Sloan President, Graham Allen.
Back in March of this year, the Chicago Cubs and Sloan joined forces and established Sloan as the team's Official Water Efficiency Partner. As part of this relationship, Cubs Spring Training Facility in Mesa, Arizona, was named Sloan Park. While the Legacy Partnership between the Cubs and Sloan is new this year, Sloan products have been in use at Wrigley Field since 1914 – back when it was known as Weeghman Park.
Sloan continues to help the Cubs organization expand its ongoing sustainability efforts and improve the fan experience at Sloan Park and Wrigley Field in Chicago. The company's expertise will be particularly helpful in the ongoing water-sustainability efforts in the Arizona area.
"Sloan is passionate about providing intelligent water solutions to the communities we serve. We are excited to have a major presence both in Chicago and Mesa to authentically convey the message of water sustainability," said Sloan President, Graham Allen.
As you continue to watch the Cubs throughout the playoffs, stay on the lookout for Sloan sustainable solution advancements at Wrigley Field and Sloan Park in the coming year.
