Dakota Supply Group (DSG) in La Crosse, Wisconsin – a branch that originally opened as W.A. Roosevelt in 1868 and was acquired by DSG in 2012 – is commemorating its 150th anniversary. The company open house events for invited manufacturer-partners, customers and employee owners during the summer of 2018. These events will celebrate both W. A. Roosevelt’s history and DSG’s future.
The celebration will kick off with a booth setup and open house event for invited manufacturer-partners on Wednesday, July 18, at DSG’s La Crosse location. The event will include a Mississippi River dinner cruise aboard the La Crosse Queen. Following Wednesday’s events, invited manufacturer-partners will have the opportunity to participate in the customer appreciation sale and open house on Thursday, July 19, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“Our manufacturer-partners have played a big role in our success over the last 150 years,” said Todd Eber, director of marketing and analytics at DSG and former president and owner of W. A. Roosevelt. “Our customers are also their customers, so this is a wonderful way for both of us to celebrate 150 years of business and having such great customers.”
As part of its celebration, DSG is holding a vintage W.A. Roosevelt artifact contest in which customers can submit photos of historical W. A. Roosevelt items via lax150anniversary.com for a chance to win prizes. The contest is on now and runs until July 19, 2018.
