Sun Fire Awarded Distributorship

Sun Fire Plumbing has been awarded an exclusive Northern California distributorship for its new product developed by SolarLogic: the Solar Logic Integrated Controller, known by the acronym ‘SLIC.’

Gary Sullivan, the owner of Sun Fire Plumbing said: “As a long time renewable energy contractor with over 45 years experience in the field, I’ve been tasked with keeping my customers warm and healthy my whole career. As a result, I’m always on the lookout for products that will help improve my customer’s comfort, while reducing their carbon footprint. ”

This device has removed the complexity of solar heating, and as important, it can cool homes and offices, which Sullivan explains is on the top of its long list of “can do’s” because that ability effectively eliminates the need for today’s energy consuming, conventional fossil fuel heating and cooling combi-systems.

“The fact that we can now very effectively do radiant cooling for the building is the ‘Missing Link’ I’ve had in my sights from the beginning, as it’s one of the most often asked question from customers, so it’s been the biggest barrier to offering a complete system, and now that market is wide open,” said Sullivan.

By working with the companion SLASH-D design program, the product uses plug and play technology to provide instant startup for solar heating-cooling and hot water systems.

The Solar-Only mode offers energy savings, while the Normal mode offers a balance between energy savings and comfort and Auxiliary offers the most comfort. Users can control the temperature and operating mode of the whole house or pick a particular zone. With access to the Internet, users can also diagnose issues from anywhere they are.
