After reviewing the trending data related to Hurricane Irma, AD has decided to cancel this year’s AD North American Meetings in Orlando for the PHCP and Decorative Brands Divisions, scheduled for Sept. 12-14.
AD’s Chairman and CEO Bill Weisberg communicated the following with the meeting registrants: "While it is regretful that we will miss our time together, our utmost concern is for our attendees’ safety. While no one knows for certain the path the Hurricane will take in the days ahead, most models suggest that Orlando and environs will be negatively impacted and that major travel disruptions will occur. We are not willing to risk the safety of our Members, Suppliers or Associates on the chance that these models and concerns prove unwarranted. For those of you so inclined, we also ask for your prayers for the millions of people who are potentially at risk because of this storm.”
