Eastern Arizona College and Advanced Air Systems, Thatcher, Ariz., have joined forces to offer an intensive, short-term, certification program for entry-level HVACR technicians.

Courses will be held at the Advanced’s own Air training facility. Company owner, Tyler Myers, will be the instructor.

“This is an amazing opportunity for someone who wants a fast-track into a growing industry,” said EAC dean of instruction, Mike Crockett. “HVAC-R technicians are consistently in high-demand in the southwest. We’ve considered offering this program for years, but now with the cooperation of Advanced Air Systems we can provide it to the community for a fraction of the cost of similar programs elsewhere.”
