Acorn Engineering Fountains to be Branded Under Murdock Manufacturing

August 31, 2016
No Comments

According to a press release, Acorn water products will be branded under Murdock Manufacturing:

“Since 1853, Murdock Manufacturing has been in continuous family ownership and in that time, a broad spectrum of quality water related products have been produced.

“In 2005, the Murdock and Morris families (Acorn) formed a strategic alliance and partnership to further strengthen our position in drinking fountains, water coolers, hydrants, showers and bottle fillers. As the manufacturer, we have continued to build these products and innovate the delivery of drinking water to the public at large around the world.

“This year, the Murdock and Morris families decided to brand all of the water products named above under Murdock Manufacturing.  In 2016, as a one hundred and sixty-three year old family name in the drinking water industry, we strongly believe grouping our indoor and outdoor offerings under Murdock Manufacturing strengthens our brand and gives us a single identity.

“It is important to note that this is a change from “Acorn” to “Murdock” in name only. The water cooler model numbers, code approvals and commitment to quality product are unchanged and we will continue our goal of market innovation. Murdock Manufacturing and Acorn are partners whose goal is to build the best drinking water products available to the public.”
