Bosch Wins APR Supply’s 2015 Vendor of the Year

At its recent annual awards dinner, APR Supply Co. named Bosch its Vendor of the Year. Jeff MacDowell, vice president of marketing and emerging markets, presented the award to Jim French, vice president of sales for Bosch Thermotechnology.

In his presentation, MacDowell noted that “The reason we chose this partner as the vendor of the year is because they effect the broadest market segment with engagement in water heating, hydronic heating, combination units and geothermal.” He went on to list the following factors that led APR Supply to their decision. This year, Bosch has:

  • Introduced innovative products to meet market demand and segments.
  • Created contractor programs, including accredited contractors dealer locator.
  • Run local and factory training, including hands-on training.
  • Run factory trips for contractor recruiting and education.
  • Multiple manufacturer’s representatives to manage all the different market segments products they manufacturer.
  • Consumer recognized brands.
  • The MOST creative recruiting events ever.
  • Offered a broad selection of condensing and non-condensing residential and commercial tankless water heaters.

“Bosch has been a winner for us in 2015,” said MacDowell. “They provide us with cutting edge products at a great value. It has been a partnership that aligns well with our main goal of creating enthusiastic customers.”
