Valve basics, hands-on experience part of NIBCO valve training program

Elkhart, Ind. – Enrollment is open for the NIBCO Valve & Press School Sept. 21-24, 2015, at the NIBCO iron valve foundry and distribution center in Blytheville, Arkansas.

The training program combines classroom instruction and hands-on training to provide an in-depth introduction to NIBCO valves and fittings. During presentations on the Press System, participants will learn installation procedures and crimping techniques for the press-to-connect fittings.

Training segments include:

•Valve selection

•Materials selection

•Field application

•Installation procedures

•Casting facility tour

“We know a deeper understanding of product and materials selection makes a real difference in customer service,” Gordon McCrory, director of capital investments and special projects at NIBCO, said.

Course: NIBCO Valve & Press School

Class dates: Sept. 21-24, 2015

Location: NIBCO Blytheville, Arkansas, iron valve foundry and distribution center

Who should attend: Distributors, engineers, contractors, account managers or anyone who specifies, installs, sells or distributes NIBCO valves and fittings, including Press System products
